Beijing airport bomber indicted
The man suspected of setting off a homemade explosive at the Beijing Capital International Airport has been indicted by the Chaoyang district prosecutor's office.
The office said Monday that the case involving Ji Zhongxing, a 33-year-old wheelchair-bound man from Shandong Province, was transferred from the airport police on August 8 after their investigation was wrapped up.
Ji confessed that he did this for personal purposes. He has been in custody since July 21. The explosion injured no one except the bomber.
