An unidentified dead body with its head and limbs all missing was found in Xincheng District, Beijing at around 4 o’clock yesterday morning.
The corpse was spotted by some passer-by on a pavement not far from Tian’anmen Square at about 4 a.m., according to some eyewitness.
He said the body was devoid of head and all the four limbs. The police arrived at the scene at 8 o’clock and removed the body.
Some other witness said that the corpse was discarded near a dustbin, with a small puddle of water left by the sanitation worker around it.
Further investigation is still in process.
